Last bank holiday monday saw racing at the Castle Combe circuit, where we watched classic Ferrari’s and Porsche’s hurtle around the track amidst a heady concoction of coffee, doughnuts and premium gasoline. We were there to support a driver, who won his class in the Sports and GT racing. But seeing the classic Ferrari’s roaring past was the best part of the day personally. Not being the most agile at the moment, I took the smallest, lightest camera I have that also has a decent zoom. The Ricoh GXR is a nice little beast, though compact cameras aren’t really the ideal choice for capturing speed demons!
