Happy 161st Birthday Gaudí

If Google can celebrate the great Antoni Gaudí, with one of their google-doodles, then so can I. Visiting Barcelona you can’t really escape his artistic effects on the city, from the towering modernism of the Sagrada Familia, to the fanciful Guell Park, and the elegance of Casa Batillo, which offers visitors a view from the rooftops amongst human-like chimney stacks. His work spans art nouveau, structural engineering, and the nickname, God’s architect.

This image I took in a death defying balancing act on the roof of the Casa Batillo.
