David DuChemin gets about. One moment off in the extremes and glacial beauty of the antarctic and the next  hot air ballooning over the African savannah. Read about his latest adventures here.

On a different note, my previous post, Mirror Image, contained a photo that I’d submitted to the Pentax Artist Gallery, along with a few others, which was rejected! Even leaving aside an ego, it seems a harsh assessment, though maybe also a lesson in judging the quality of photos in isolation. Sometimes you maybe too close to an image and something you see in it, isn’t there for anyone else.

Sometimes, and I’ll say this in a hushed tone, sometimes, everyone else is wrong! 😉 Enjoy DuChemin.

About Photonbox

Photonbox is a portfolio and photography blog of my work and others. The others are the great and the good, shining examples of great photography. My own work by contrast is a soft glow, but practice makes perfect…
