Protest America

Well, as promised in my last post I did walk on the wild side of London and visited the tented village of Occupy London protesters who have set up camp outside St. Pauls cathedral. It was actually a really interesting visit both photographically and from a personal point of view to hear the views without the media filtration. It’s become a gathering point for a myriad of issues, not just banker bashing and anti-capitalist ranting. The cathedral was hosting a Thanksgiving ceremony for American citizens abroad and protesting on St. Paul’s steps were a group calling attention on Bradley Manning, a US solider arrested in 2010 on suspicion of passing information to WikiLeaks whilst serving in Iraq.
