Rewind Festival

The Rewind festival held in Henley-on-Thames over the weekend saw a host of 80’s artists entertaining the 20,000 strong crowd under the blazing sun. Some weird and wonderful dressing up by the festival-goers, but I was their more for the music, so only grabbed a few images, including these two. Using the Fuji X100 and processed in Lightroom and experimenting with new XeL presets.

My eye was drawn to the monochromatic umbrella hoisted overhead to shade from the sun, and I liked the framed foreground of the sea of folding chairs. The other image of the helter skelter was lighting up the sky as the sun went down. I maxed out the X100 at 3200 ISO, and processed with XeL Fuji Neopan film and selenium settings.

Cool images of Rewind at Henley. Shame we missed out on Midge Ure’s first song!
