SPS Open 2012 Results

The results are in! And they amount to a big fat zero, as no images made the grade to get into the Southport Photographic Society 2012 Open competition. The acceptance score is 12, and as you can see, none of my images made it past 9. One image, of the Bean sculpture in Chicago, scored 2 points less than last year, which only goes to show the margin for personal opinion between judging panels on anything subjective.

The only score that slightly grates, is the 6 – for a photograph of the Regatta at Henley that was accepted by the Pentax Artist Gallery.

C’est la vie…
