Thin blue line

This morning I was visited by a very kind police officer who had come to see me when I was in hospital, who needed to take another statement as to my recollection of the car accident, as it looks like I’m going to court due to the other driver pleading not guilty. My recollections are fairly limited of the whole period and the only thing I can really remember post accident is asking a nurse why I was in a military hospital…the injuries and grade A drugs were toying with my feeble grasp of reality for a while.

As we finished the statement, a call buzzed through on the officers radio about an accident in Cheltenham, with two people trapped in the car. The officer called in to say she was on-route and then left with a wail of sirens and flashing blue lights.

It’s the most exciting Tuesday in ages… I hope the people involved in the accident today are ok.
